About Tam Macklin

 Tam Macklin started flying in 1980 and since then has accrued  over 14,000 hours in the air, most of them in helicopters. These hours  were gained in many different aircraft, in many countries across the  world and in various roles. Now retired, he has the time to reflect on  jobs, on people, on opportunities and missed opportunities along the  way, and on the immense privilege of having had a career in aviation,  especially in the close-knit world of helicopters.
